Take a practice-oriented course, solve dozens of real cases, and go to an interview armed to the teeth with knowledge. You can achieve this with Lectera. What is this Agile online course about?

The Agile course from Lectera is a training programme covering all work areas for a future project manager.

It’s entirely focused on working methods that enable you to effectively manage any business and quickly build new products from scratch.

This training programme shows you how to implement the Agile and Scrum methodologies in your current work. It also demonstrates how to meet customers’ needs and gain constructive feedback, simplify the company’s organisational structure, and build work processes in a way that will allow you to rapidly achieve your goal. As a result, employees will not experience burnout.

This online course will also help you master the techniques of effective team and workflow management. Furthermore, it will enable you to navigate the basics of management and discover how you can start your own career path in a bona fide business, whether it’s your own project or one at a large corporation.

Likewise, during the training, you will find out how to manage people without getting the reputation of a bad boss and actually leaving room for creativity, flexibility in developing solutions, cohesion, and even camaraderie between team members.

What is Agile methodology?

Agile represents a whole variety of agile approaches. Some project managers perceive Agile as a philosophy. Still, our course focuses on a more down-to-earth perception of this methodology. The methodology we refer here to is a set of tools used in various areas of activity to achieve results.

It is vital to understand that Agile doesn’t provide specific algorithms for solving problems or completing tasks; it consists of various approaches to working issues. Amongst other things, these methods are united by common values: focus on people, on a working product, productive cooperation with customers, and readiness for the changes that will happen eventually. What is SCRUM?

SCRUM is just one of the elements of Agile methodology.

You may also have heard about Kanban, which is also from Agile.

SCRUM is a technique for collaborative working within a team. It can be a project management platform, or it can simply be an addition to existing workflows, allowing you to embed analytics within them. So, when clients use the word Agile, they often mean SCRUM.

The benefits of the course

Firstly, you will quickly learn all you need to know to effectively manage teams. We particularly focus on speed because we understand how valuable time is for our students.

Secondly, you will practice real-life case studies. It will help you understand what you can expect from your job as a project manager and be prepared for almost every emergency situation.

Thirdly, you will be able to start applying the skills learned on the course even before finishing it. Therefore, you don’t have to wait for the moment you receive your certificate. Everything we teach on the course can be used by you instantly after watching the lectures and doing your homework.

Agile Course Reviews

Marina, 29:

“I wanted to change the industry I worked in and become a manager. Yet, it seemed almost impossible to me: I had not studied project management, I was not even familiar with the role of a product owner, and I did not know the principles of collaborating with a team. I chose this course because I wanted to practice real-life cases. I thought that this would be an advantage when applying for a job. The program taught me everything I needed to know during my first year working as the head of a team creating a digital product. I discovered the secrets of planning (which really turned out to be secret because I had never come across this before in articles about Agile) and the steps needed to get regular feedback from the team and the client. As a result, I found a job two weeks after completing the course, although I applied for vacancies during the training. I am totally satisfied! I would say that the course is great for beginners.”

Andrey, 36:

“I applied for the course already having experience in managing teams. However, after completing the training, I realised that I was not at the level of working with global corporations. I saw that there was still more I had to learn. One of the program’s advantages is that it provides you with all the vital information you need in a very measured way, with high-quality lessons, which I could go through at my own pace. Another pro is that they have additional materials literally for every lesson. For example, in one of the lessons, there was I a model for communicating with employees I’ve never heard of before. Then I used it almost every day afterwards. I graduated with a certificate, passed the test, and got a new job a month later, with a better position and a higher salary within the same company. The course completely proved its worth and paid off almost immediately.” Effective Business Management
